Arrested woman threatens police with Voodoo curse
A Greenwich woman is facing charges after police say they caught her driving a stolen car, and she then threatened to cast a spell on officers.
Police say they pulled over 41-year-old Ivy Johnson by the McDonald's on East Main Street in Stamford early Friday morning.
They say Johnson tried to make excuses for why the car was stolen, and then things became unusual.
While officers were placing her under arrest, she reportedly told them that she was a Voodoo priestess and that she would put a curse on them if they touched her property.
Police say the car was stolen out of Mount Vernon, New York.
