Police: Man exposed himself to teen in Bridgeport
Police are searching Wednesday for a man they say exposed himself in front of a teenage girl.
Bridgeport Police Capt. Lynn Kerwin says the girl was walking toward a friend?s house on Old Town Road about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when a car pulled up beside her.
The teen told police the driver began asking her questions and then started to touch himself inappropriately.
Kerwin says the driver sped off, and the girl ran to a nearby apartment complex for help.
Police say the teen was able to provide a vague description of the driver.
?The only description we have is white male, probably late 30s [to] early 40s,? Kerwin says. ?[He] looked to be about 170 pounds and he was in a four-door dark-colored sedan.?
Homeowners in the area say they are shocked and concerned that this could happen in their neighborhood, which they describe as relatively quiet.
