Hundreds of friends and family members gathered Thursday morning for the funeral of a Fairfield teen who was found shot to death in his home.

The body of 17-year-old Kyle Schneider was found last week inside the home he shared with his father. His funeral was held at the First Congregational Church.

Several of Schneider?s Fairfield Warde High School classmates were given permission to miss class to attend the funeral. Those who knew Schneider say he was a fun-loving boy who was killed before his potential could be realized.

Meanwhile, the investigation into Schneider?s murder is still being conducted. No arrests have been made so far.
