Parents: Student brought gun to Bridgeport school
Some parents in Bridgeport are concerned after they say an eighth-grade student brought a gun to school Monday and threatened to shoot another child.
Parents claim school officials never told them about the incident, which took place at Roosevelt School. They say the entire school was on lockdown.
According to parents, students were diverted from the front door to the side entrance of the school Tuesday so police could search them for weapons.
Both police and the board of education have not returned calls made by News 12 Connecticut.
