(12/10/07) GREENWICH ? Police are trying to determine if bad weather caused a fatal one-car crash in Greenwich over the weekend.

The 19-year-old victim has been identified as Steven Bawol, who grew up in Cos Cob. Police say Bawol?s car was heading north when it struck a pole and flipped over around 2 a.m. Saturday on Stanwich Road.

A makeshift memorial has been set up at the site of the accident. Someone who knew Bawol said he was a great football player at Greenwich High School who was well-liked.
