NYC police manhunt crosses state lines
The search for a suspect in the death of a New York City cabdriver has crossed state lines into southwestern Connecticut.
New York City police say the suspect mowed down a cabbie with his black Nissan Altima around 12:00 a.m. Tuesday after the two drivers had an argument. The man allegedly left the cabdriver on the street to die, fleeing the scene with a female passenger.
Three hours later, authorities in Norwalk were notified the suspects may have fled to the area. Local police confirm they were asked to check a Norwalk location for the individuals involved in the city incident.
Police are still searching for the suspect and his passenger.
