Police say they have identified a person of interest in the stabbing death of a 21-year-old woman in a Stamford hotel.
A Sheraton Stamford Hotel worker found the body of Layla Banks, of Greenwich, in a service hallway at 6:19 a.m. Saturday. Witnesses at the hotel say they heard screaming on the floor, but police say no one called it in until the body was found.
