Businesses in Darien dry out after storm

Businesses in Darien are picking up the pieces after Thursday?s storm blasted the area.

At the height of the storm, the Compleat Angler fly fishing store on Heights Road was filled with about 5 feet of water. The store?s manager estimates the damage to be more than $250,000.

Camp Avenue in Darien apparently suffered structural damage. First Selectwoman Evonne Klein says she has called Gov. Jodi Rell?s office hoping to get some help from the state. Lt. Governor Mike Fedele visited Darien Friday to tour the damage.
