Duo arrested in connection to van stolen at gunpoint

Two men are under arrest after Norwalk police officers say they spotted them driving a van that was stolen at gunpoint.
Police say they spotted the 2006 Dodge Caravan in a parking lot at Connecticut and Scribner avenues around 9:30 Tuesday night. When they stopped it, two men got out and took off in opposite directions.
A sergeant at a nearby construction site pursued one of the suspects, using his patrol car to corner the suspect against a fence. Police say the second suspect was found hiding near the Colonial Village housing project.
Police say it is unclear if the two men arrested were the ones who stole the van at gunpoint a few days earlier.
