Family seeks help to bury Stamford brothers
Family members of the brothers who died in a Georgia car crash are asking for help to cover funeral costs.
The family of Joshua Stevens, 9, and his brother David, 5, has received cards and flowers from families throughout the community. They are now asking for donations to a fund that is being set up to help pay for funeral costs.
The family says they are devastated by their loss.
?You?re looking forward to enjoying the summer, watching them grow a couple inches taller,? Chiquita Stephenson, Joshua and David?s cousin, said. ?You?re never in a position where you think you?re physically going to be burying your child. Right now, this is just a devastating time.?
The boys attended Springdale School in Stamford. The school will be holding grief counseling Thursday for any students affected by the tragedy.
