Norwalk police say the public has helped them solve several recent cases, including an alleged crack house bust on Saturday.

Police say their recent message to the public, ?Help us to help you,? is making a difference. Norwalk Police Chief Harry Rilling says several tips led to a bust at a Maple Street apartment. Police say seven people were arrested at the alleged crack house, which is across the street from Norwalk Hospital and near Jefferson Elementary school.

Rilling says tips from the public also helped police solve a murder on March 22. ?People realize that they need to do something about that. That we need to get involved and say that?s it, we?ve had enough,? said Rilling.

Police stress that any tips they receive remain anonymous.
