Thousands of people packed the streets Stamford for the annual St. Patrick?s Day Parade. Sidewalks were filled with parade-goers dressed in traditional Irish clothing, watching and listening to the sounds of Irish music for the 12th Annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Springdale resident and Parade Grand Marshall, Jim Nestor led marchers, while hundred of young musicians and dancers from schools all over Fairfield County performed to the crowd's delight. The city of Stamford held their Saint Patrick's Day one week early because the marching bands are in such high demand this time of year. The bands will perform in several Saint Patrick's Day Parades throughout Connecticut and even New England.
