In addition to honoring past presidents this holiday, southwestern Connecticut residents took advantage of Presidents Day sales.Car dealers at Key Hyundai in Milford say Presidents Day weekend is the time car manufacturers slash prices and offer bigger incentives. It is also the weekend dealers use to gauge how the rest of the car-selling season will be. Dealers in Milford say the weekend started off slow, but business picked up Monday. They say many deals will last through the end of the month.
