A combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain has left dangerous and slippery road conditions.
Bridgeport's Director of Emergency Operations Scott Appleby says crews were prepping roads with salt and sand overnight. However, he is urging drivers to take it slow especially in hilly areas.
Appleby says the main concern is later Wednesday, as black ice forms on roadways.Related Information
