Stamford teen arrested in connection to rash of armed robberies

An arrest has been made Friday in connection to a string of recent armed robberies from Connecticut to New York.

A number of fast-food restaurants and video rental stores were held up between Stamford and Greenburg, New York. Nineteen-year-old Marquis Coker, of Stamford, has been arrested in New York in connection to the crimes.The joint operation between the Stamford Police Department, Connecticut State Police and Westchester County lawmen yielded a few clues. A safe, which police say was tossed under the Pulaski Street Bridge in Stamford, was hoisted out of the waterway by police divers.
