Bridgeport shelter makes sure everyone feels cared for at Christmas
Guests at one Bridgeport shelter found out Monday it doesn't matter where you celebrate Christmas, but who you spend it with.Gifts, holiday entertainment and a warm meal were provided at the Prospect House shelter in Bridgeport. It was organized by Stratford's Temple Beth Sholom, which has been organizing the event for the last 20 years. Linda Grant of Temple Beth Sholom says everyone wants to feel full and cared for, and the temple feels what it does accomplishes that. The group will gather again on New Year's Eve for a dinner hosted by students from Fairfield University.
