Insufficient toy donations leave Bpt. center hoping for Christmas miracle

A Bridgeport organization is hoping for a Christmas miracle, claiming it has been turning away children in need because it hasn't collected enough gifts.

Volunteers at St. Jude Hands Reaching Out Center are expecting about 400 children between 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday, but they have only about half the gifts needed.

The center says the need is greatest for teens, especially girls and hope the public can help make a Christmas wish come true for dozens of kids.
