Milford shocked by sexual assault on senior citizen

Milford residents are reacting with disgust to Friday night's sexual assault on a senior citizen.Police say the suspect, armed with a knife, barged into the 79-year-old woman's Forest Road house between 7 and 8 p.m. A police dog tracked the suspect's scent to the parking lot of a nearby Howard Johnson hotel. Investigators are now hoping the victim can provide additional clues to help with the search. Robert Zinck says he's shocked the assault happened around Milford. He says nothing that bad ever happened in the area.As police continue their search for the suspect, they are urging the public to lock their doors and make sure no one can disconnect the lights outside their homes.Related Information:
