A Stamford teen has been arrested for allegedly shooting four children with a BB gun Sunday night.
Police say four children, between ages 8 and 10, were at the athletic fields next to Westover Elementary School when three teenagers approached them. One of the teens then allegedly shot the children at point-blank range with the BB gun. Police say the children were shot several times in the torso but only suffered minor injuries.
Police say the children managed to run home and told their parents, who then called police.
The 15-year-old alleged shooter is under arrest and police say they expect to arrest the other two suspects.
