Norwalk couple attacked by their dog while they were fighting

Norwalk police say a couple is facing charges after a fight ended with the family dog attacking both of them.



Police say it happened on Glen Avenue early Wednesday morning.



They say Joseph Velez arrived home drunk and began arguing with Miriam Fahey.



Police say when Valez got close to Fahey, their 180-pound pit bull/great dane mix began biting and scratching both of them.



They say both people were hurt and sent to the hospital.
