Stratford police say a grandmother is facing charges after leaving a 3-year-old in an unlocked car.

Police say Rosanna Sinatra, 59, left her grandchild sleeping in a car seat while she shopped on Ferry Boulevard yesterday.

Officers say the car was off and the windows were rolled up.

They say Sinatra was issued a misdemeanor summons and was charged with leaving a child unattended.

The child was OK.
