Police: 2 arrested following Norwalk brawl that began in La Torche Night Club
Norwalk police arrested two people following a brawl in a parking lot early Saturday morning.
Viewer video captured the melee that began in La Torche Night Club and escalated in the South Norwalk lot.
Police say there were more than 600 people in the lot at around 2 a.m., and that they had to call reinforcements from Stamford, Darien, Westport, New Canaan, Wilton and state police.
Police say patrons at the club complained that bouncers sprayed them with pepper spray.
Authorities arrested Christopher Bautista, of Stamford, and Stanley Bruno, of Danbury.
They say both men were in a truck and refused to leave. Authorities also allegedly found marijuana inside the vehicle.
Police say Bruno hit a police officer with the mirror of his truck and punched and kicked officers trying to arrest him.
Officials report that there were two stabbings nearby at around the same time as the fight, but that they were not related.
