Voters head to polls for Primary Day
The polls are open across the state as voters have the chance to cast their ballot in a number of races, including the GOP candidate for governor.
The Republican party's endorsed candidate Tom Foley cast his ballot this morning in Greenwich. Foley is running against Senate Minority Leader John McKinney, of Fairfield.
The winner will face Gov. Dan Malloy in this November.
