Stamford police are looking today for the person who stole more than $4,000 worth of copper wire from a construction site.

They say a manager discovered the theft on Tuesday morning at the new CVS pharmacy being built on High Ridge Road.

Officers say they are now checking different metal recyclers and scrap facilities to see if they can find out if anyone tried to sell it.
