Police: Woman jumps to death at Stamford mall
Police say a woman jumped to her death at the Stamford Town Center mall. Officials say the woman was pronounced dead at Stamford Hospital after jumping multiple stories from an escalator inside.

Police say a woman jumped to her death at the Stamford Town Center mall.
Officials say the woman was pronounced dead at Stamford Hospital after jumping multiple stories from an escalator inside.
Her death is being investigated as a suicide.
Police say the woman was on an escalator traveling from the seventh to the ninth floor.
Police say witnesses saw the woman hang her body over the rail of the escalator. They say she hesitated, but eventually threw herself over, falling into the center of the mall.
The mall was closed for the evening as police investigate.
