Circle of Friends holds Teen Scene event in Norwalk

A local nonprofit group spent Sunday creating an afternoon full of fun and friendship for people in Norwalk.

Circle of Friends, a group that hosts social programs for people with special needs, held a Teen Scene event at Beth Israel on King Street. The event had a Mad Scientist theme.

The group matches high school students with teens who have disabilities to help develop relationships.

Organizers say the event teaches the meaning of friendship.

Circle of Friends says it puts on a variety of programs each month.
