A popular Darien restaurant known for its friendly vibe and good food is closing its doors for good.
Darien Social opened in 2012 and quickly became a hit. The restaurant was also used by local charities looking to hold fundraisers.
The manager of Darien Social says the facility has been sold and the new owners plan to open an Italian restaurant.
Customers say they are disappointed. Many say they will miss Darien Social.
The restaurant will close for good on April 2.
