Police arrest alleged suspect in Bridgeport shooting

BRIDGEPORT -

Police have arrested and charged the alleged suspect involved in a Bridgeport shooting that left one man in critical condition.

As News 12 reported, the shooting occurred around 8 a.m. Saturday inside building No. 5 at the Greene Homes Apartment complex on Washington Avenue.

Police say an argument provoked the incident that ended with a man shot multiple times in the stomach and at least once in the groin.

Police have not released the name of the suspect at this time.
