Two men are facing murder charges in the death of the Stamford man who disappeared after going to New York City to party with friends.
James Rackover and Larry Dilione are facing murder charges for the death of Joseph Comunale.
The pair, along with the 3rd suspect Max Gemma, were originally charged with tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution.
According to the district attorney, Comunale was killed inside Rackover's Manhattan apartment back in November.
Court papers say Dilione initially beat Comunale after an argument over cigarettes. Dilione allegedly told police Rackover panicked and said, "We have to kill him," and then stabbed, choked and tried to dismember Comunale in a bathtub.
Surveillance cameras captured both men loading duffel bags into a car hours later.
Authorities found his dismembered body in a shallow grave in New Jersey several days later.
