Norwalk man accused of stealing thousands from local community organization in New Canaan

A man from Norwalk has been held on bond after he was charged with stealing tens of thousands of dollars from a local community organization.
According to police, Joseph McBride, 62, turned himself in Wednesday to New Canaan police.
McBride is the former treasurer of the Masonic Lodge in New Canaan.
Police say McBride used a lodge credit card to withdraw $54,000 over a four year period.
