Police made an arrest in a Milford hit-and-run that critically injured a Stratford woman.
The hit-and-run happened last August outside the Bridge House Restaurant in Milford. Amanda Keane, 35, was working at the restaurant and was struck after her shift ended.
Surveillance video shows the driver hitting Keane and leaving the scene on Bridgeport Avenue. After the video aired on News 12, police say someone came forward and eventually led them to 30-year-old Antonia Monique Pierce.
Keane's family says the incident left her in a coma, but she continues to make remarkable progress.
Keane told News 12 that she is doing well, though she is still adjusting to the circumstances.
“I want to be able to rebuild my life since this has happened,” she said.
Keane is still under doctors' care. Her mother says her daughter's life will never be the same.
