Police in Bridgeport are looking for three men accused of kidnapping a woman and possibly shooting a man and dog over Memorial Day weekend.
It happened Monday around 1:10 a.m. on Federal Street.
The woman allegedly kidnapped is OK, but police still have a lot of unanswered questions and are trying to get to the bottom of what led up to the possible shooting, and alleged kidnapping.
According to police, a 31-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were together inside a car, when police received a call that shots had been fired in the area.
Police say the man was taken to the hospital, but it's unclear if he was actually shot.
The woman was driven to an unknown location in Wallingford, and was abandoned there, authorities say. She then called 911 and was picked up by investigators.
Police are continuing to follow up on leads, and no arrests have been made at this time.
