Report: Connecticut crime at lowest in 50 years

The FBI says crime is the lowest it has been in Connecticut in 50 years.

The bureau released its annual state-by-state crime report for 2016.

According to the report, murders were down in Connecticut by nearly 33 percent, with the fewest number of murders since 1969.

Overall crime was down 3 percent, putting it at its lowest since 1967.
