A man is behind bars after police say he smashed his way into an AT&T store in Norwalk.
It happened Wednesday morning around 3 a.m. at the store on Belden Avenue.
Barry Turner allegedly used a pickax to break through the front door of the store.
According to police, when the alarm went off, Turner ran, but police caught him a block away.
News 12 Connecticut is told Turner apparently didn't take anything from the store.
