Stamford man remains in critical condition after crash near Strawberry Hill Avenue

STAMFORD -

A Stamford man is still in critical condition after an accident in the parking lot of an apartment complex Friday morning. 

Police say the crash near Strawberry Hill Avenue damaged around a dozen vehicles and some had to be towed.

Detectives say an 82-year-old woman was driving a silver SUV when she hit a pedestrian and crashed into a number of other cars.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for minor injuries
