Snow makes for slippery evening commute

STRATFORD -

Snow that began falling across western Connecticut Friday afternoon made for a slippery evening rush commute.

Drivers are urged to use caution due to the wet and slick conditions.

Some schools, educational programs and religious institutions have announced closings or schedule changes due to the weather.

A total of 1-2 inches of snow was expected to accumulate.
