A former teacher’s aide from Stratford faces 18 months behind bars after pleading guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

Kyle Damato-Kushel, 48, was a former employee at Wooster Middle School and was once the boy's preschool teacher.

Officials say Damato-Kushel began a sexual relationship with the boy back in 2013 when he was in the seventh grade. According to officials, the affair was discovered by her husband.

Sentencing is scheduled for March.
