A white Hyundai is being sought in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that happened Sunday, Newark police said.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday that the white Hyundai sedan is a model between 2015 and 2018, and that it may have front bumper damage.
Police also released photos Tuesday of the victim, who they identified as 53-year-old Alyse Grady, of Newark. Authorities said Grady was struck around 12:30 a.m. Sunday while crossing South Orange and South Munn avenues. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified.
