Islamic State militants have claimed responsibility for an attack in Afghanistan on a Save the Children office.
Three employees of Save the Children were killed and at least 20 others were hurt in the nearly 10-hour standoff.  The gunmen who stormed the complex were also killed.
Save the Children has temporarily suspended programs across Afghanistan.
The nonprofit is based in Fairfield.
