Norwalk police: Man stole car, led police on chase

NORWALK -

Police in Norwalk have arrested a man accused of stealing a car out of Middletown and leading police on a brief chase.

An officer tried to pull Luis Garcia over Wednesday on Water Street.

According to police, Garcia refused to pull over, but eventually did stop on Fort Point Street.

Police say he then ran away but officers were able to catch him.

Garcia is now facing several charges, including larceny and interfering with an officer.
