Students and parents rallied in Bridgeport, calling for a new home for their school.
About 100 people from Classical Studies Magnet Academy were in attendance outside of the Catholic Center on Jewett Avenue, which is up for sale.
The group wanted the City Council to allow the school to move into the building, though the panel blocked the purchase last year amid concerns over parking and a nearby liquor store and methadone clinic.
The school's current campus is divided between two properties on Lindwood and Beechwood avenues.
