The families of Bridgeport murder victims stood together in solidarity Saturday, calling for an end to the deadly violence plaguing the city.
Organizers with Connecticut Mothers United for Healing say they want the killing to stop.
Supporters say the program needs the backing of the government and the community.
"One of the things that I think good government can bring is something as simple as gun legislation," one supporter says.
Some say the 2012 murder of 15-year-old Ke'Ijahnae Robinson serves as a classic example of what needs to stop. The group says by joining together, Ke'Ijahnae's death will not be in vain.
