<p>Bridgeport City Councilwoman Eneida Martinez was taken to a hospital after an assault Thursday, according to a city official.</p>

Official: Bridgeport councilwoman hospitalized
Bridgeport City Councilwoman Eneida Martinez was taken to a hospital after an assault Thursday, according to a city official.
News 12 is told an arrest warrant has been issued in connection with the case.
Officials said they could not release more details about Martinez's condition due to privacy concerns.
She represents the 139th District in the city's East End.
