Social workers from across the state will be honored in New Britain today.
Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman will be among those spotlighting the role social workers play in helping children in foster care.
Young adults who grew up in foster care will also be on hand.
It's all a nod to National Professional Social Work Month, which celebrates more than 650,000 workers in the U.S.
