Homeless man accused of yelling at students on school property

Darien police say a homeless man is in custody after allegedly yelling at children while they played at recess.

Police say staff at Middlesex Middle School saw Robert Houseworth on school property yelling at some of the children.

School staff reportedly brought the kids inside immediately, while one employee confronted Houseworth before he walked away.

Police say they picked up Houseworth a short time later, and he admitted to yelling at the students. The reason for his actions is not known.
