A routine traffic stop in Newtown turned into a high-speed chase and ended in an accident, according to state police.
Troopers say Nathaniel Calloway drove away from them at speeds of 115 mph when they tried to pull him over for a suspended registration Tuesday.
A trooper eventually found Calloway's car on its side and crashed into a fence in Southbury.
Police say Calloway, who was wanted by Wallingford police, was found with brass knuckles and a large amount of cash.
