Sen. Richard Blumenthal will talk in Hartford today about efforts to end abuse in Olympic sports.
The senator will stand with athletes as they share their personal stories of abuse at the hands of their coaches. 
Blumenthal is leading in the Senate to reform Olympic sports in the wake of nationwide abuse scandals. 
They will also discuss how to recognize and report abuse.
It comes after USA Gymnastics national team Dr. Larry Nassar was convicted of abusing athletes under his care.
