It was a special evening in Westport Thursday for members of the Chabad of Westport Jewish Center. 

The new facility had its ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening where there was live music, food and activities for all ages. 

The center will be serving communities from four towns including Westport, Wilton, Weston and Norwalk. 

Members say it took several years of work to complete bringing the new building to life.
