A new program in Bridgeport is making sure teens have a safe place to go.
The Full Circle Youth Empowerment Center has officially opened on East Main Street with a mission to support kids in the community and teens in the foster care system.
The center hopes to provide those ages 14 to 20 with the skills necessary to transition into adulthood.
They will have programs to cover a variety of needs including homework help, social skills development and job training.
The center will be staffed with people from many different backgrounds, including educators and social workers.
