Hundreds from around the state spent an hour doing push-ups for more a good cause Sunday morning.
The ninth annual Push Against Cancer for Kids was held in Westport.
The one-hour push-up challenge aims to provide children who face health and medical issues with a full week of summer camp at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, where their needs can be met.
The event was hosted by the Westport Police Department and Mental Grit Fitness of Fairfield County.
After nine years of fundraising, they are hoping to reach their goal of $500,000 to give the kids a safe place to be themselves.
Donations and fundraisers keep The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and its services free for the campers.
